SDRS SUPPLEMENTAL RETIREMENT PLAN
The South Dakota Supplemental Retirement Plan (SDRS-SRP) is designed to help you save additional money for retirement. It offers flexibility, allowing you to enroll or change your enrollment at any time to suit your financial needs. You can choose between pre-tax and Roth (after-tax) contribution options, providing you with the flexibility to save in a way that works best for you. This plan is an excellent way to supplement your primary retirement savings and ensure a more financially secure future. For more details and to manage your account, visit the SDRS-SRP website. This plan is separate from South Dakota Retirement System (SDRS), in which BHSSC Full-Time employees are automatically enrolled in at a 6% rate with a 6% employer match.

Total SDRS Supplemental contributions per pay period*
You may split your contribution between pre-tax and after-tax (minimum $25 per pay period) into the SDRS Supplemental Retirement Plan. Payroll deductions will be invested into the Vanguard Target Retirement Fund closest to the year in which turn 65. I understand that deferrals will begin on the next available pay date.
